Queen Victoria Partners for Early Learning Project
Child Development Institute is the lead agency of the Queen Victoria Partners for Early Learning Project (QVPELP) in Parkdale, providing health, social and educational supports for young children aged 0-6 in the Queen Victoria Public School area.
The QVPELP is a Toronto First Duty pilot project funded by the City of Toronto and Atkinson Foundation and consists of a partnership between Child Development Institute and Queen Victoria Public School, the Parenting and Family Literacy Centre School, Parkdale Beach Child Care, St. Christopher House and Toronto Public Health.
The project is a multi-year plan to break new ground in creating focused, seamless and integrated service strategies for the families of children in the inner city area anchored by Queen Victoria Public School.
