Bobby

Eleven year-old Bobby was referred to the camp for the first time due to stealing, lying, school problems, aggressiveness towards peers, and not listening to his parents or teachers. Even Bobby's mother had low expectations for camp, “Bobby has always hated camp. I expected him to quit.”

Though originally resistant to joining in camp activities, Bobby soon became involved with all aspects of camp and always appeared to be enjoying himself. Bobby's mom noticed that Bobby began to use SNAP at home and their clashes subsided, “We were completely happy, it moved us to see Bobby participating at last. He is even better behaved at home, more calm and thoughtful.”
