Early Learning Centres

Our Early Learning Centres engage children in activities that lay the groundwork for developing literacy, social skills and readiness for school using a curriculum based on research and best practice. In a structured environment, children choose from activities including arts, crafts, music, drama, active games and exercise. Research shows that high quality child care provides a positive influence on the development and future potential of children.

Each Child Development Institute Early Learning Centre is licensed by the Province of Ontario and maintains specific health, safety, fire and program standards as outlined in the Day Nurseries Act. Each centre also has a purchase of service agreement with the City of Toronto, allowing for subsidized spaces to families in need of assistance.
