Send a kid to Camp Wimodausis 2010 Campaign

Send a kid to Camp Wimodausis and help them get back on the right track!

As part of our commitment to strong families and healthy children, Child Development Institute is launching our 2010 workplace Campaign to send at-risk kids to camp.  It costs only $1,500 to send a kid to Camp Wimodausis for one month.  And we’re asking you to join this year!

Our unique day camp program gives kids the chance to make friends and build social skills in a safe, structured environment with specially-trained counselors.  These children who come to Camp Wimodausis wouldn’t be admitted to most camp programs because of their behaviour.  And our camp program wouldn’t be available if it wasn’t for generous donations from the corporate and other groups who support our work.  All the donations made to our 2010 Send a Kid to Camp Campaign will help send a child to camp this summer.

To get started, download our printable Send a Kid to Camp brochure.  The 2010 brochure has more information about Camp Wimodausis and tips and ideas for getting started.

"The progress we see in so many of these kids after just one session of camp is remarkable.

We know that our camp, and your donations, make a difference.

We hear from parents and teachers that children who attend Camp Wimodausis are happier, more settled and better able to manage in the classroom."

Abdi Mohamud, Director of Camp Wimodausis
